David C. Henry, FACHE - Interim Chief Executive Officer
Justin Stroud - Chief Financial Officer
Justin Stroud, chief financial officer, joined the Merit Health Central team from Merit Health Rankin and Merit Health Woman’s Hospital, where he served as CFO. In the past, he was CFO of Merit Health Northwest Mississippi in Clarksdale. He is a licensed certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. Stroud is an active member of Rotary International, the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the First Baptist Church Jackson Worship Choir.
Dana Clark, MSN, R.N., Chief Nursing Officer
Dana joins the hospital from AMITA Health Saints Mary & Elizabeth Medical in Chicago, Illinois where she served as CNO the last four years. Previously, she worked as vice president and CNO of Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare - South in Memphis, Tennessee. She has more than 30 years of nursing experience - 18 of which were in leadership roles.
Throughout her career, Dana has provided oversight and support for several nursing units and programs, including behavioral health, ER, ICU, medical-surgical, women’s services, same day surgery, PACU, endoscopy, respiratory care and wound care. Additionally, she has worked as a chief operating officer for Kindred Healthcare in Nashville, TN, where she oversaw daily operations of a 60-bed LTACH startup facility.
The Memphis native loves educating and developing, and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Dana earned her Bachelor of science degree in nursing at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and her Master of science degree in nursing from the University of Memphis.
