Merit Health Medical Group Adds Physician to Byram Clinic

Merit Health Medical Group welcomes Vicky Pilkington, MD to the medical staff. Dr. Pilkington will practice at the Merit Health Medical Group clinic located at 7215 Siwell Road in Byram.

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Pilkington completed her medical residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Additionally, she was fellowship-trained in geriatrics at UMMC. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and the American Geriatrics Society.

Dr. Pilkington, along with Kelly Sosa, FNP-BC, and Chris Vinson, FNP-BC, can treat anything from minor emergencies to chronic disease management and preventive care. Services and treatments include:

• Diabetes and high blood pressure treatment and management
• High cholesterol treatment and management
• Annual wellness exams (including Medicare wellness)
• Common illnesses such as cold, cough, flu and sore throat
